The Institute of
Professional Goldsmiths is the top qualifying body in manufacturing gold
and silver trade. It also develops and assists positive and acceptable
methods of training as well as good professional conduct and advances the
interests of its members.
It was founded by likeminded
people concerned about the fast diminishing Jewellery and Silverware trades
and the resultant loss of skills in these related areas. It is devoted
exclusively to promoting, encouraging and maintaining the very highest
standards of craftsmanship in the UK and Ireland.
All

practising craftsmen and women recognised for their high standard of
professional accomplishment.
